A dreamer and a successful Serial Entrepreneur, Shami Munir, founded Kimcot in 2001 with a vision to become a leading telecommunication service provider in Canada. Under Shami’s leadership, the company became a multi-million dollar venture and a dependable telecom service provider in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, in a short period of time. The company now owns 19+ Wind Mobile stores throughout the GTA, with a diverse workforce of over 100 employees.
Tenacity, Passion, Vision, Resilience, Confidence, and flexibility are the traits to describe Mr. Shami’s personality. His analytical mind and quest for excellence keeps him in search of new avenues to serve the underserved. Three years ago he realized that there is a need for Canadian Android SmartPhone at competitive prices. Since then he was working with Chinese partners to develop the device and unique Apps to create new markets and to empower the women using K2, the first ever Canadian Android Smart Phone. As a result, K-Mobile came into being in January, 2013. Shami is excited to launch K2, the perfect smart phone for the modern man and woman, always on the run and always in need of instant communication.

Shami is well traveled and enjoys Flying, Paragliding, and hiking in his leisure time.
